Sterolandia 50
Sterolandia 50 capsules are an absolutely unique food supplement containing the nutritional properties of totally organic micronutrients with therapeutic properties of the herb Sutherlandia Microphylla.

MICRONUTRIENTS
Micronutrients are essential for the conversion of ingested foods into their nutritional components which can then easily be absorbed through the small intestine into the body. They are also vital in maintaining the integrity of the metabolic functions of the body.
Unfortunately these micronutrients are very unstable and modern farming methods and the processing of food to ensure adequate shelf life has rendered the content in the food we eat today virtually non-existent. It is also common practice to fortify a variety of foods with micronutrients such as vitamins, minerals and amino acids. Invariably these micronutrients are of a chemical or inorganic nature and as such have to be converted into their organic state by the body with the resultant drop in their bio-availability by at least 70%.
Another disadvantage is that any formula will probably be of an arbitrary nature and will only be a fraction of the actual amount and ratios that occur in fresh food. Clearly the optimal way to ensure proper digestion and nourishment from the food we eat is by providing our bodies with micronutrients derived from fresh food itself.
Camdeboo Health Products has perfected a method of preserving all the micronutrients from fresh plant sprouts. This process ensures that none of the nutritional value of the sprouts are lost, thereby facilitating the proper function of the micronutrients. In a recent article in the New England Journal of Medicine (351;1 July 1, 2004) the results are published of a two-year trial in Tanzania involving 1078 HIV+ pregnant women. The researchers found that “In addition to enhancing immunity, multivitamins may also reduce HIV replication, as indicated by a significant reduction in viral load.”They reported that women using multivitamins were “significantly less likely to progress to [Aids] or die of Aids-related diseases. …they were also less at risk for rashes, inflammation and fatigue.”
The conclusion of the study is:
“Multivitamin supplements delay the progression of HIV disease and provide effective, low-cost means of delaying the initiation of antiretroviral therapy in HIV-infected women.”
Dr Leon Regensberg, Clinical Director of Aid for Aids, SA’s biggest managed treatment programme, commented in the Sunday Times (04-07-2004): “We had the view all along that micronutrients do have value but we have been waiting for scientific evidence to back this up.”
SUTHERLANDIA MICROPHYLLA
Sutherlandia is an indigenous South African plant, mostly found in the Karoo. For ages the people of South Africa used it as a medicinal herb. It was popularly called the "cancer bush" because of one of its profound abilities, namely to restore the wasted bodies of cancer patients.
The bush became internationally renowned for its healing qualities and consequently we started shipping it out to other regions where patients with wasting conditions greatly benefit from it. Meanwhile the Medical Research Council of South Africa and the National Research Foundation took their time to analyse the plant for its scientific value and possible toxicity. The final report came out in April 2002 and the bush was cleared from any danger of toxicity. Soon after this we saw the product slowly entering our own markets. According to Section 15 of the Medicines and related Substances Control Act, 1965, (Act 101 of 1965) there is clearance for the product (NAPPI code 700873-001).
The most remarkable results following the use of Sutherlandia are:
CAMDEBOO HEALTH PRODUCTS (Pty) Ltd started producing a capsule called Sterolandia 50, containing 300mg Sutherlandia. In the same capsule they added 300mg of dried, ground sprouts of soya, barley, wheat, lupin, fenugreek and sunflower.
The sprouts have powerful detoxification qualities and provide micro-nutrients, like Omega 3 and 6, magnesium, potassium, sodium, zinc, riboflavin, thiamine and more.
We tested the product on a number of individuals, all having experienced different problems. Most of the people using it under our supervision are HIV+ and the rest are HIV-. Of the number of people presently using Sterolandia 50, the following can be reported:
1. HIV/AIDS: In a pilot study conducted with eight HIV+ individuals using Sterolandia 50 capsules only, at a dosage of one capsule in the morning and one in the evening, it was found that the combined viral loads of the patients were reduced by over 85%, as well as increasing white blood counts (WBC) by 3%. (See results at the end). Numerous HIV+ users of Sterolandia 50 report feeling much better and experiencing fewer opportunistic infections, including fungal thrush in the mouth. Their conditions improved, they are gaining weight, feeling healthy again and are becoming productive within a few weeks. Many went back to work.
2. Persistent infectious conditions: A number of people are using the product because they did not respond to antibiotic treatment any more and were consistently troubled by recurring infections. They have all overcome their infections within the first two months. One fell pregnant and because the product was not yet tested for pregnant and breast-feeding women, discontinued the use thereof. A lactating mother started using it, however, because she reasoned that it would be worse for the baby if she took anti-biotics, and it had no side-effects either on her or on the baby.
3. Varicose ulcers: An elderly woman (87) with venous insufficiency had ulceration and subsequent dermatitis, which, after three weeks of a single capsule of Sterolandia 50 per day, is completely healed for the first time ever since she developed the condition. Two other individuals subsequently started using the product for the same reason. Results are awaited.
4. Insomnia: A number of individuals with longstanding sleep disturbances reported improved sleeping patterns, ranging from mild to remarkable improvement.
5. Depression: A number of individuals with fairly serious conditions of depression managed to replace the antidepressants with Sterolandia 50. They do not present with depression any more, despite unchanged circumstances.
6. Wound healing: A number of individuals are using Sterolandia 50 for post-operative healing of wounds and reduction of scars. These patients report extraordinary healing. Even in deep, purulent wounds improvement is seen. Another individual with the use of only one eye had to have an operation on the good eye. The wound would not heal and he was in danger of losing that eye. After two months of Sterolandia 50 the wound healing was effective to such an extent that his vision improved: in stead of weakening, one extra line could be read in the eye test.

Sutherlandia Microphylla has been tested by the Medical Research Council of SA (M.I.R.A.) and the National Research Foundation (N.R.F) and found to be safe and non-toxic in all dosages well above the recommended 300mg twice daily (one capsule morning and evening). It is however contrary indicated in pregnant woman or nursing mothers as well as children under the age of four.
