Micro nutrients
Micro nutrients are essential for the conversion of ingested foods into their nutritional components which can then ` easily be absorbed through the small intestine into the body. They are also vital in maintaining the integrity of the metabolic functions of the body.
Unfortunately these micro nutrients are very unstable and modern farming methods and the processing of food to ensure adequate shelf life has rendered the content in the food we eat today virtually non-existent. Sutherlandia is regarded as one of the most profound medical plants of Southern Africa with a lengthy history of usage by all cultures in the region.
